  1. Morgan le Fay is Arthur’s half sister.

  2. - Cacophony was okay, but it definitely reeked of Kevin Smith’s voice, which is one of the reasons it sort of disappointed me. It was only like 3 issues, so it wasn’t HORRIBLE but like… meh. Also, going back and rewatching Mall Rats… I was totally bored by it for the most part. I personally think that Clerks is really the only Kevin Smith movie that can stand the test of time, but Clerks is really the one that shines through the most.

    - The main story of Old Man Logan was AMAZING. I seem to be the only hater (that I’ve heard of) for the Giant Sized issue. It feels like such a let down in terms of action/plot compared to the Red Skull fight. It’s a cool payoff, but Banner’s reasoning… even if he was psychotic… was sort of well… dumb. I mean it really boiled down to the Hulk being bored and wanting to pick a fight with Wolverine because he missed their old epic battles. It just seemed so… half-assed sounding. I was just like “WHAT?! THAT’S IT? That’s why you killed his family?” I dunno… I think I would’ve liked it more if there was just less banter (and banner) during the fight and more Hulk vs. Wolverine.

I think Old Man Logan is already spinning off into a sequel. It HAS to! Well… maybe not, but it definitely didn’t set anything in stone with that ending, and I’m assuming Marvel would want their money’s worth. The giant sized issue definitely ran short… or at least it felt short. So I inevitably was upset with the price point due to how quickly I went through that giant sized issue. Speaking of money though… I’m curious if this Giant Size issue was planned in the original 8 part story or if they extended/modified the script along the way to cash in on things by changing the plot up to make room for a Giant Sized issue. The only reason I say this is because of the delays in the final part and then another big delay in the giant sized issue, y’know?

As Beeslo mentioned on our show, it would’ve been nice to reprint the Hulk vs. Wolverine issue in the back instead of using the sketches.

Also, amazon.com is already taking pre-orders for the hardcover edition of Old Man Logan. I may actually purchase it in trade simply because I did enjoy the overall story so dang much. Who knows.

PS. Maybe I’ll try to come to Time Tunnel and check stuff out for giggles if I can make it out there. :)

PPS. Maybe I’ll see you at the Podcamp.

PPPS. Your interview is now up on thegameheroes.com site itself.
